Thanks to Katie Green, I stumbled onto the website of Simone Lia – an illustrator and comic artist based in London who has published a few books, one of which is the popular Fluffy graphic novel – it’s about a man, a bunny in denial, and an obsessive nursery teacher.
She has a blog that is absolutely hilarious. Remember what I said about British humor? It certainly is the case again right here. Simone’s blog is a great pick-me-up source on a dreary day!
UPDATE: Melanie interviewed Simone before for COTL zine, and you can read the entire interview here. Thanks Melanie!
Amy, I interviewed Simone years ago, the interview’s at: http://cotlzine.blogspot.com/2008/07/simone-lia-interview.html if you want a read? Simone is such a treasure 🙂 x
That worm is the cutest! What a merry little fellow.
I’ll definitely book mark Simone’s page…
Thanks for sharing!

simone’s work is ace, it’s hard not to love it.
Gosh, I find it hard to believe that you needed me to stumble upon the wonders of Simone!
Her work never fails to make me laugh out loud, and I’m a proud owner of a Fluffy screenprint. I believe at the moment she’s working on another graphic novel, more autobiographical this time (but don’t hold me to it!)
oooh I had to comment that I love Simone Lias work, I met her in person once briefly and she was really nice too!
Oh Fluffy is one of my favourites! You should definitely read it 🙂
ooh, i love her work too. found fluffy at my local library.. so good!
I just love her style, I will definitely check out more on her.
