Thursday love: Madrid-based illustrator Marta Antelo.

Imagine a wee little printer that sits on your desk – bringing in snippets of news and fun things everyday. Or a to-do list that prints itself out so that you can just stick it to your journal. Or a crossword puzzle for the day.
Meet Little Printer – it’s like getting a mini newspaper that’s hot off the press (literally!). I love the idea immensely – my love for printed matters notwithstanding – because I think that Little Printer is almost like a mini mailman that delivers good stuff. And when you’re working alone, a bit of good stuff trickling in throughout the day is always good.
The good news is that this little fella is now available for pre-order by the folks at BERG.

Who needs pesky fair-weather friends when you can have an army of pocket manfriends at your beck and call? Meet Ken. He’s someone you take out of your pocket when you want to say hello to someone. Or anyone for that matter.
Each one is lovingly handmade by Nicola Rowlands and no two are exactly alike – just like regular friends. And you won’t get any sassymouths here either.
Hi there and welcome to Pikaland! This is my personal playground where I write and research about art, creativity, and the pursuit of art entrepreneurship. Enjoy!
