Yayoi Kusama: last days of exhibition in London

Hallucination: that’s what Yayoi Kusama’s work is all about. The best-know living artist from Japan who influenced people like Andy Warhol, made me and my friends get more and more interested in her as we were entering the rooms and her universe that is so unique and somewhat very bizarre.

It’s a must visit if you’re in London right now. You’ll experience and feel things that goes from uncomforted dizziness to complete amazedness.

I’ll never forget the “Infinited Mirrored Room – Filled with the Brilliance of Life” where you enter in a room of mirrors and its filled with these very small lamps that shines with different colors at different timing and makes you feel like you’re in an infinite world, that you can walk and look at yourself for your whole life never arriving at the end of anything. There’s a video where you can see what I’m talking about:

The exhibition is at Tate until the 5th of June. Run! 😀

The pictures where taken by Thais Caramico and Roberto Almeida.

Amazing illustrations and drawings of nature by Liam Stevenson Liam Stevens – an image maker and designer based in London.

UPDATE
The last time this post went up, it was under the name Liam Stevenson, which is totally not the artist’s name. I’m mortified to let you know that the person who drew all these lovely images is LIAM STEVENS – and not Liam Stevenson (maybe there is one and he can draw, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be like what the Mr. Stevens does). So with great embarrassment, here’s too a public service reminder to those out there if you (like me) have been sending out emails to yourselves via the iPhone – be very wary of the dreaded autocorrect function.

And also it’s my own personal reminder to check things more thoroughly the next time. Sorry for the boo-boo!
