I was directed to Conrad Roset’s work by a friend, and I’ve been pouring over his work since. He’s a freelance illustrator from Barcelona and his works are punctuated by color, seemingly rendered with the aura of his subjects in mind.

See more of his work over at his blog (where you can find his shop) and also via his portfolio.

I’m enjoying the work of Daniela Witzel, an illustrator based in Germany who does amazing things with color pencils. And while I love her style, it’s her imagination that truly sets her apart.

See more via her portfolio or via her Flickr stream.

If you’re bored…

… then you’re most probably boring other people as well.

Do stuff.
Make things.
Read.
Draw (here’s a free list of 100 things to draw).
Go do goofy things.
Experiment.
Fail once in a while.
Live a little.

Because life’s too short to be boring.

Happy Monday folks!

—————-
I apologize for leaving you all in the lurch last week – I’ve been dashing crazily from one state to another, all for the union of two friends. It was well worth it though, and I do recommend getting some crazy into your life to feel alive. Phew!

Here’s to an exciting week ahead!
