Oh Nicoletta Ceccoli! My friends know me too well. For my birthday last year, my BFF gave me Kate Bernheimer’s book The Girl Inside the Castle Inside the Museum which Nicoletta illustrated. Ceccoli has illustrated many books in her home country of Italy, but also the US and the UK but The Girl Inside the Castle Inside the Museum is my favorite by far.
Raise your hand if you too have ever wanted to live in a museum!
her work is magic! love it 🙂
Yes! These illustrations are just gorgeous… they draw me in and I don’t want to leave.
YES! Ever since reading From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler (!!!!) I have been dying to live inside a museum. Now I must see this book! Lovely!
Ah, beautiful! Have you seen the Tear Thief? I cannot wait to get my hands on it {hands which are most certainly raised…I’ve been scheming my move into the local museum since I was six. I will need a rather large bed, I think}!
they’re so great! Adore them! Really do! So inspiring 🙂
* raising hand and waving frantically *
