I can’t imagine working without a calendar on my desktop, so it’s no surprise that I like to start preparing early by looking at what’s out there before the year ends. There’s a quite a number of 2011 calendars out there already, and I thought that it would be nice to share those that caught my eye!

Can’t get enough of Mr. Ashkahn? Well you’re in luck because he just released a line of fun hand-printed cards that will make your recipient smile. Not the warm fuzzy kind of smile though — it’s more of a chuckle (which can sometimes border on a smirky grin) because they’re that funny.

Christina Song recently graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a BFA in Illustration. From her portfolio, it appears that she’s still experimenting with various styles but I am quite taken in by the illustrations shown above — I think the combination of hand-drawings and textures from the collage adds a touch of interest and depth to her work. And the colors — such fun, pretty colors!
