Like bits of puzzle that belong together but not quite, Vermont based Jonathan Ryan Storm’s work appears to be a catalog of things both real and imagined. His painted objects seem to be artifacts in an imaginary museum — filled with things you’ve never seen before or know about.

Jonathan is Little Paper Plane’s bi-monthly artist of the month of July and you can find four exclusive prints of his in the LPP shop. Read the interview that he did up with Kelly too!

Ebenezer Archer Kling. For real! That’s his name. Super bad, right? Archer is from Northampton, MA and this might sound weird but to me, his style reminds me a lot of children’s book illustrator Tomie d’Paola’s art -if Tomie d’Paola and Monty Python had an art baby.

Check out Kling’s portfolio, blog, and Etsy!

(I was going to end it with a Monty Python quote but thought it might be too inappropriate!)

Loving the pretty ladies illustrated by Stephane Tartelin. He’s an illustrator based in France and is currently doing work for Elle magazine. Although his earlier works were digitally produced, I really like his current hand-drawn ones – his lines are beautiful!

His work is not only limited to the fairer sex, there’s a fair amount of quirky creatures too, which you can easily spot in some of the images above. You can buy limited edition posters and prints over in his shop too if you’re lucky — most of it is sold out!
