This week’s giveaway of an illustrated Smashed at Sea necklace comes from Tsai-Fi (pronounced sci-fi), a shop that’s stocked with kawaii-based original illustrations and handmade items. Never did it cross my mind that mermaids were the ones having the most fun – I thought dolphins were the only ones rocking the ocean! Also of note are the custom tattoos that others have commissioned from her – see more on Tsai-Fi’s blog.

i think the pendant is more than that – a reflection of freedom, sea, fluidity (mermaid), beauty and fun. That’s what I would tell people if I was to be given the chance to adorn it : )
