What do you get when you cross lots of illustrators with one loveable creature by Maurice Sendak? A roaring collection of terrible yellow eyes of course!
The project, which ran from May 2009 to January 2010 was started by Cory Godbey. His goal was to make a collection of paintings inspired by Maurice’s famous book Where the Wild Things Are as a tribute and celebration of the book; of which he did wonderfully.
Love, love, love.

I had SO much fun looking through this project. Thanks for the reminder to check it out again!
Corey is a talent and a dear heart!
LOVE LOVE LOVE….me too…I wish my Once Upon a Time Wild thing made it to the collection…oh well, I was a few days late.
HUGS and thanks for sharing.
