I’m not due back blogging until next Monday, but I just wanted to pop in and mention the wonderful work that Julie Annis has been doing for the indie band Camera Obscura from Glasgow, Scotland (I think she did the illustrations for their website as well). The one featured here is the band’s latest single that came out early December, and you can see more on her portfolio page.

Hello Amy,
So glad you posted about this. Just this past weekend I was browsing Camera Obscura website trying to figure out how they manage their background images (html speaking). I remember some months ago they had the illustration covering the whole screen which was doubly striking. So now, besides liking this band and their website, I’ve become a fan of Julie’s work. Love the use of watercolor in it.
Amy, enjoy the holidays and wish you all the best in the coming year.
Love.
