Loving the beautiful work done by Jing Wei, a Brooklyn-based illustrator and printmaker. She does woodcut prints of funny looking animals — my favourite is the origami bear above. You can find the print of Roperite (second image from the top) on I Vote for Art, a print shop helmed by the inexhaustible Ben.
Have you seen the beautiful installation works of Erik Otto? He is an extremely versatile artist who works with various mediums and he just released his second book called Paper Fabric Wood V.2. that measures 7×7 inches with 74 pages of full color photos and plenty of content. As a special treat for fans, he has created a special edition gift set that includes a signed copy of the book , one original drawing, 5 stickers and a postcard all packaged in a customized reusable wooden box in an edition of 20 — available for only USD90.
