I made you a beard

No, I didn’t, but Erin does! I am in love with her shop that dedicated to being all about the face fuzz. If you’re curious about her process, head on to her blog to see how it’s done.

And she can also draw other things besides beards too (!), and she sells her other beautiful quirky artwork on her other shop, erindollar.etsy.com

Project PikaPackage

————————————————————————————————————————————————

10 Feb: The March round is currently FULL, but if you have a specific project that will work very well in our May package, we’re still open to possibilities, so feel free to contact us with the form below.

We’re now open to participants who would like to sign up for our May round!

You can still sign up with the form below, but your entry will be for the May package if you’re shortlisted! If you wouldn’t mind being on the reserve list, then you can always send in your contributions early, so if there’s any last minute changes to the lineup, you’ll be in automatically. We’re keeping tabs on the number and quality of contributors to ensure each gets our undivided attention!

Calling all illustrators, artists, crafters, screen-printers and gocco-ers!

If your work involves some measure of illustration, then we welcome you to participate in Project PikaPackageā„¢: a monthly curated package that’s oozing with lovelies from illustrators and artists filled with prints, buttons, zines and collectible art!

What’s the PikaPackage Project about?

The PikaPackage Project is a specially put-together monthly collection of goodies from illustrators and artists that will result in ONE to TWO free monthly PikaPackage giveaway to readers. The rest will be sold as a lucky dip package to spread the word about their fantastic art!

Here’s the basics about participating:

1. Participants will be notified if they are selected after they’ve informed us of their interest in participating via the form below (or via email);

2. Participating in the PikaPackage project is free;

3. Participants now have an option of placing their banner on the blog (only participants are able to buy a space) for USD10. The optional fee would help fund the marketing materials, costs and the effort that goes into organizing the project;

4. Participants will be asked to submit 12 contributions (or more, if you’d like), so that we can fit in more works from different artists into one PikaPackage; and

5. Every participant will get one PikaPackage in the mail too!

6. For the DECEMBER round, deadlines for contributions is 21 NOVEMBER 2008. This FIFTH PikaPackage Project round will launch in early to mid of DECEMBER 2008.

We’re currently selling packages from our FOURTH participants in our shop!

Want to see who the participants for PikaPackage are, and what goodies will be up for grabs? Visit our Flickr page for the latest updates!

For artists + illustrators: To sign up for our next round in MAY, please fill in the form below and you’ll automatically be added to our mailing list. If we feel that your work would be a great fit for the PikaPackage Project, you’ll get another email from us with more information!
