Beautiful daily sketches by Anna Emilia Laitinen and Samuele Bastianello who are collaborating on a project where they are featuring a daily illustration inspired by and dedicated to a song at A picture with a smile — and perhaps, a tear. By the end of the year they hope to have 365 images each, and a whole lot of songs on their playlist. I’m loving the range of the sketches already up at the site — there’s watercolor, pen, and ink; and what I particularly love is seeing how their style will morph throughout the exercise. How exciting!
