Jill Calder is an illustrator, calligrapher, painter based in rural Fife, Scotland who also lecture in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art.
I am thoroughly enjoying her blog where she talks about illustration and her daily life (when she has some free time on her hands!) and also her flickr stream where she showcases her awesome ink-based illustrations. Her work is also up for sale, but only via email.

jill is lovely, she came up to our uni a couple of times to do some classes & talks. i agree with lizzy, her passion is indeed infectious!

i did a workshop with her in my school and I love her work so much! oh i wish i can also do drawings like her someday
