Fact & Fancy’s Print Party

I’m halfway around the world from Fact & Fancy’s gallery in Brooklyn, but if you’re in the vicinity, you’d be pleased to know you’ll be doing the bunnies over at House Rabbit Society a good deed when you hop on over to the gallery in support of their Print Party that’s happening from November 7 to 9.

$5 from each sale will go to the charity, and leftover prints will be available for sale online via their website from next Monday.

Some of the participants include Wonder Thunder, Wonting, Laura George and many others, which you can read more at Fact & Fancy’s blog.

The Desktop Wallpaper Project

I personally like to change my desktop wallpaper every so often, just to mix things up a little. Enter Bobby Solomon of Kitsune Noir. He wrote to all his favourite artists and designers — many of which he has featured before — and asked them if they’d contribute a desktop wallpaper… which they happily did. This led to the Desktop Wallpaper Project where he releases one desktop wallpaper every Wednesday morning (California time) until he runs out of them. They’ll be free to download, and come in a multitude of monitor sizes, as well as iPhone and PSP versions.

Other artists who’ve also came up with wallpapers include Mike Perry, Tim Biskup, Andy Rementer and also the previously featured Jean Jullien.
