Dawn is a dear friend of mine who makes the most beautiful art. I remember looking over her flickr stream a few years ago and wanting so bad to be her friend because she is so wonderful in so many ways. She has given me so much encouragement and love; and I want to be able to give her something back for all the times she heartened me. In her own words:<\/p>\n

This piece was created with thoughts of Valentine’s Day. I did not have anyone in mind for this piece, meaning there is no one who is waiting to receive it. So, it will need a home to go to.<\/em><\/p>\n

I would like to offer this piece to that one person who can inspire me and give me hope for the future.<\/em> <\/p>\n

Being an environmentalist I am constantly reminded of what lies ahead for us and the environment and I can start to feel the great disconnection people have with nature, with themselves and even with the people they love, and I feel hopeless. Share with me your thoughts of what it means for you to get out and enjoy your surroundings (by yourself or with family\/friends).<\/em><\/p>\n
