2013 was a mixed year for me, and one that came and went a little too soon!<\/p>\n
I got married to my partner of 12 years<\/a> \u2013 who I affectionately refer to as Mr. T.<\/p>\n I came to terms with the passing of my grandmother<\/a> on Boxing Day in 2012.<\/p>\n I continue to terrorize the students of The One Academy<\/a>, and learnt many things about teaching, young people, and the combination of the above. I’m learning from my experiences as I go!<\/p>\n I started a new online class<\/a> \u2013 one that’s a culmination of what I’ve learnt during the past 7 years blogging, illustrating, freelancing and finding meaningful work.<\/p>\n I went to Japan for 2 weeks for my very belated honeymoon \u2013 my first extended vacation after 3 years!<\/p>\n I also started to draw a lot (and sharing some of it through my Instagram<\/a>).<\/p>\n Through it all I’m thankful to have you<\/em> with me.<\/p>\n While I think I might have missed out a few things here and there (especially the painful bits \u2013 thankfully I have a short-term memory for those) \u2013 I’m really looking forward to 2014 and the many adventures it will bring. There’s going to be new projects that I’m keen to explore (with you guys of course!), along with personal projects that I’ve been meaning to buckle down to do but didn’t quite manage to find time to do so in 2013.<\/p>\n So I’d love for you to share with me:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n What were some of the best things that happened to you in 2013? What were you most proud of?
