I&#8217;ve been eagerly awaiting his latest book ever since I&#8217;ve failed at attempts to procure some of his zines (they were all sold out when I discovered him!)<\/p>\n<p>He works and lives in the Irish countryside, and it&#8217;s where the book is based on. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1568989520\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#38;tag=pikaland-20&#38;linkCode=as2&#38;camp=217145&#38;creative=399373&#38;creativeASIN=1568989520\">In the Wild: Drawings by Nigel Peake<\/a> features a smorgasbord of his detailed ink drawings and muted watercolors \u2013\u00a0almost one hundred of them intricately capturing the fine details of living in &#8220;the middle of nowhere&#8221; as he affectionately calls it. <\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/26152065?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"440\" height=\"250\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pikaland\/5915234456\/\" title=\"In the Wilds by Nigel Peake by pikaland, on Flickr\"><img src=\"http:\/\/farm7.static.flickr.com\/6032\/5915234456_0e7935864f_z.jpg\" width=\"440\" alt=\"In the Wilds by Nigel Peake\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What I love about Nigel is his ability to strip the complicated away from everyday matters, and present them in almost subjective forms. The resulting textures and movement are what makes his work so special \u2013 they&#8217;re\u00a0transparent, intricate, and very distinct.
