At some point when i was doing kids book illustration I realized that my ideal job would be making picture books for adults. That\u2019s what I do now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your goal before the year 2010 ends?<\/strong><br \/>\nHmmm. I\u2019m not much of a goal-setter. I do hope I end the year filled with inspiration and energy on the brink of a new book art project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your biggest fear?<\/strong><br \/>\nMy biggest fear has happened, and I don\u2019t talk about it. And I am a bit superstitious about talking about my 2nd biggest fear because it might happen, so we\u2019ll leave that one alone, too. but my 3rd biggest fear? That\u2019s easy &#8212; being bored! I just <span class=\"caps\">HATE<\/span> being bored!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s your favorite tool?<\/strong><br \/>\nA tiny, beautiful folding knife I bought in Italy. I keep it on my keychain and every once in a while I actually use it. I\u2019m always completely gratified that it\u2019s not just decorative!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Share something random with us!<\/strong><br \/>\nI used to live in a ghost town in Northern British Columbia. No road access, no electricity, no running water, it was perfect. And then, for true love I moved away.
