So I did, and then I forgot all about it.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago I heard that the book was already released and I was saving up to buy a copy sometime in January. As luck would have it, the very next day after my birthday the postman buzzed my door and handed me a package that made me stop in my tracks. It&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uppercasegallery.ca\/camilla-engman\/\">Suitcase Series featuring Camilla Engman<\/a> that I was lusting after! I was trying to remember if I had bought it pre-launch, but then I remembered \u2013\u00a0I might have a little piece in there. Suffice to say, this little surprise package sweetened up my birthday week! <\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.pikaland.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/1945.jpg\" class=\"image\" title=\"camilla engman suitcase series\" alt=\"camilla engman suitcase series\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The book is beautiful. The paper, the cuts, the inserts, the postcards, a booklet about Morran, and a screenprint from Camilla. Janine and her team at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uppercasegallery.ca\/\">Uppercase<\/a> did a fantastic job with the project. Flipping through the whole book was quite an experience \u2013\u00a0I appreciated all the little nuances and the clever layouts; the illustration and the fun energy throughout. I love the thick rubber band that held everything together, because the book is bursting with lovely surprises inside!
