Mark Warren Jacques

US-based artist Mark Warren Jacques’ work drew me in in an instant. There’s something in his paintings (done mostly in acrylics and ink) that speaks to me. Whether it’s the geometric forms, or near perfect proportions – each one seems to send a message; a recorded teleportation and communication in progress from one plane to another. Some of the titles of his pieces are interesting as well – for example, the last image is entitled “The sun feels great on my naked parts” – you can’t get any more communicative than that.
