Sponsor giveaway: Cloudy Collection

Cloudy Collection is the brainchild of David Huyck, an illustrator, designer, and artist based in Moscow, ID. The project produces a set of 6 letterpress prints every three months or so and with it, a new theme and a gang of new collaborators. The project was born out of his love of letterpress and instead of going it alone, he invited his friends to take part and the Cloudy Collection has produced 7 editions so far since 2009!

UPDATE: 24th November
Their most recent edition is called Bunches, Crowds, Clusters, Piles & Knots going to be called Simple and will only be released on 1st December. Best of all, a percentage of the sales of the Cloudy Collection print sets will be donated to The Nature Conservancy, an international organization devoted to saving wild, untouched, and rehabilitated natural places for future generations.

We have a fun package of the entire 2010 editions up for grabs for ONE lucky commenter (that’s three FOUR different print sets worth USD$35 each, including their yet-to-be-released print set!), and another lucky commenter will get the latest print collection, Bunches, Crowds, Clusters, Piles & Knots Simple worth USD$35.

Just leave your comment — say hello, write out a rhyme, anything at all — for a chance at winning! Winners will be picked out after 30th November.

*UPDATE: Commenting has now closed, thanks so much for participating. The winner of this giveaway is Jesseline G. & Melanie Martin!

  6. There once was a printer named Cloudy
Whose work was a little bit rowdy
    All the characters smiled
As they worked their art wiles
And the rest of us reaped the benefits.
    (Hopefully me.) 😉

Whether or not I win (I’d really like to win!) I’m very happy indeed to find out about Cloudy Collection and am going to follow that link! Big thanks!

  12. Love Cloudy Collection. I missed the first two “episodes”, but I have the rest. Nevertheless I want to win more. Right now I am not willing to give away the cards I own to friends, they are “my precious”. If I could have some of the above, I could send them around to those who I love.

  13. Hi, I love the look of this art!

I’m about to eat cake I made with apples out of someone’s back yard in Cornwall and baked in a cottage in the Welsh countryside then I’m going to have my first bubble bath in about 2 years!

No reason for mentioning all of this except I don’t have anything else to say and I’d love to win the goodies!
