To die-for: beautiful brush-strokes in the work of Los Angeles born illustrator Ping Zhu, who is currently based in London. Her illustrations feature whimsical proportions and perspectives that are slightly isometric, with lots of heart.

This morning I’m mesmerized by the beautiful work of Riikka Sormunen, a 25-year old illustrator who was born in Helsinki. There’s so much raw energy in her personal work that they’re almost art in itself – definitely edgier than the commercial illustrations that she has done for various clients (including the New York Times).
