Studio work

We’re very pleased to announce that Pikaland will be offering studio services.

We’re based in South East Asia and our studio will be representing artists and illustrators from all over the world, as well as working with them to bring concepts and ideas to life for select clients.

If you’re a client and would love to add flair to your campaigns and products, please don’t hesitate to contact Amy directly at studio@pikaland.com.

If you’re an illustrator/artist who is interested in sending your portfolio for consideration for future projects, do drop us a note at studio@pikaland.com.

More to come soon — head over to the Studio page for updates!

Project: Presenting

For our new project, we’re casting an open call to artists (illustrators, artists, crafters, and designers, we’re looking at you!) we’d like to see your promo materials.

Namecards, postcards, posters, badges, mini-zines/books, stickers, button badges, you name it — if the reason it exists is to spread your name and/or to make your customers/clients happy, we’d like to see it!

Project Presenting will be an ongoing one throughout the year, and we’ll pick out some of the finest out there to be featured in a series of zines.

To enter, we’ll need you to send us a small snail mail packet containing 5 sets of your promo materials! Email Amy at amy@pikaland.com for the address to send in your promos!

Pikabooks

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re going to be an indie publisher of art & illustration books and zines! Our first artist is Mogu Takahashi, and her zine Chotto Omoshiroi, available in a limited edition of 200 copies (and includes an A2 size poster!)

At Pikabooks, we believe in giving back to those in need, and what better way to celebrate this than to give books to children who need it most? A portion of sales from our limited edition series will go towards First Book – an organization that provides books to children in developing countries in an effort to eradicate illiteracy.

We’re always looking for illustrators and artists to be a part of Pikabooks, so if you think your work would fit right in, please email us at amy@pikaland.com with the subject PIKABOOKS SUBMISSION.

The Good to Know Project

#2: Personal Style
#3: Time Management
#4: Goals & Success
#5: Art Education
#6: Envy/Jealousy
#7: Plagiarism
