I’m leaving you all with beautiful images from Yelena Bryksenkova’s portfolio before I head off for a spot of trekking tomorrow and some quiet contemplation! Born in Russia but raised in Northeast Ohio, Yelena’s watercolor work is breath-taking in that she handles the medium so very well. Her tiny detailed brush-strokes and patterns add such a wonderful, textural quality to her work.
She also has a shop, so if you’re a fan of hers like I am, you know where to go!

Have a wonderful weekend folks, and I’ll see you back here Monday!
Absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing. I love them all but especially love what she’s doing with grays and neutrals in the second piece. So lovely & inspiring I think I need to get out my paints!
I love her work 🙂 Beautiful 🙂
Exquisite work!
