Stumbled across the work of UK based artist and illustrator Anne Smith via the blog heysusy* and was immediately drawn to her cup paintings. The shapes, the colors, the detailed line work and simple concept are all incredibly pleasing. Love that she worked as a potter for many years, you can sense it in her drawings, almost as if you’re feeling the shape of the cup instead of just seeing it.
