Pikaland is a blog about living the illustrated life — an art and illustration blog that’s a collection of beautiful things and inspirations that I stumble upon on the internet that’s made/designed by illustrators and artists, and is updated almost daily.
I also love thinking of new ways and projects where I can connect illustrators + artists with their audience! Here’s a list of our projects to date:
It’s going to be an amazing year ahead! We’re going BIG. And if you’re keen to be the first to know what we’ve got our knickers in a twist about, sign up for our spam-free mailing list to get first dibs!

The Mayor of Pikaland
Hello, my name is Amy Ng (pronounced hng (silent h), and I’m madly in love with illustrations.
I’m a freelance illustrator from Malaysia, and I was an editor at a regional architecture and design magazine before realizing that my first love was illustration, although the topic of design trailed very closely behind. I’m constantly finding new inspirations and wares from artists and illustrators that are available for sale, and so I thought I’d gather it into a place where I can keep them all together. I am constantly inspired by illustrators + artists who have their own online shops, and I hope that Pikaland as a platform will be able help them in a small way.
And that, in a nutshell, is how Pikaland was born. I hope you’ll enjoy looking at the wonderful works of others, as much as I love looking for them.
Pikaland welcomes submissions from illustrators + artists all over the world who would like to share news about their work. We focus on illustrations/art that was made by the artists that are available for sale — online or otherwise. Please head on over the the contact page to tell me more!
Psst, care to read the long version of how Pikaland came about?

Once in a while I do review books here on the blog, some of which were bought myself and there are those that I’ve requested from publishers for review. And in the reviews, I often time link to where you can buy the book directly from Amazon, with an affiliate link. That means that I earn a small commission (not enough to buy a pony, of course!) but a small amount nonetheless, which translates into Amazon gift cards, so that I can buy… more books. So I just want you to know that I’m putting them to good use!
